Welcome to the one-day meeting in combinatorics in honour of Imre Leader’s 60th birthday

5th of September 2023, Cambridge, UK

IT HAPPENED! THANK YOU ALL!

We all know him, we all love him, and we all owe him something, whether it is a kind word when we had a bad day, or our entire career. Imre Leader is turning 60 and this must be celebrated with what he loves most, mathematics. Therefore, former PhD students, collaborators, colleagues, and friends will be gathering for a 1-day meeting in combinatorics to celebrate him, his work and more importantly, his impact on the mathematical world – the talks, given by some of his former PhD students, will be a testament of it.

The event will take place at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. Lunch will be available to purchase at Churchill College (it would be nice to go there as a group), and the event’s formal dinner will take place in St John’s College (please see Registration).

The organisers would like to thank the British Combinatorial Committee (BCC) and the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics (DPMMS) for generously supporting this event.
